We would like to congratulate Alex Murdoch, Peter Bradley and Martin Clark on their election result and wish them a successful
further term in office. 

We have no doubt that this election has been good for the sport in England and hope that table tennis will benefit from the experience.

First of all we would like to record our gratitude to the Elections Officer Ron Washington and Scrutineers Ken Mathews and John
Burtenshaw for the way they conducted the election and the count.

We would like to thank all of the people throughout the country to whom we spoke throughout the campaign, many of whom provided very useful input from their experience at local level.  We would also like to extend our appreciation to those who voted for us. 

Certainly the vote was much closer this time than in 2003.  And finally, our thanks to those people who not only supported us but campaigned for our election.

We will continue to work vigorously for table tennis as before.
